The Department Store finds the perfect fit

The Department Store opened about four months ago and sells “Products across many categories including a carefully curated selection of clothing, modern accessories, home goods and gifts”, according to founder and clothing designer, Jessie DeSue.

“Quality and thoughtful design is very importance to us, as these values are the foundation for our upcoming in-house clothing line.” The Oregon-based store might look small, but it’s got lots to offer.

Everything is available to buy online on The Department Store’s attractive online shop. With plans for a large-scale apparel launch in the next year, it’s important that the store reflects its online appearance. Jessie explains “The brick and mortar is just a small piece of the puzzle. The store’s image is really important to us because it will serve as a back drop for our clothing brand.”

“I researched long and hard for something minimal to hold the tablet. We’re really happy with our Bouncepad. It fits in seamlessly with the aesthetic of our store. I immediately appreciated the thoughtful details that Bouncepad offers, including the option to hide the iPad’s home button. Our system is as minimal and streamlined as it can get.” Using the Shopify POS system on the iPad and having a bluetooth keyboard means their countertop is kept neat and slick – no clunky tills and messy wires.

“With a lot of the other enclosures, the mechanism they’re attached to is cumbersome. Bouncepad is an overall well-designed product. No detail was overlooked including how the wires are hidden yet protected in the mounting arm. It keeps it looking tidy and secure”
